The assault caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
